Silver Fox… Inspiration - How to use silver on your eyes!

As I mentioned before, I have really thrown my love on the metallic silver lately, and I don't see me falling out of love with it any time soon.
So even though the metallics are very "holiday-party-season" appropriate, I'm determined to bring it with me into the spring.

However as it isn't a classic, I didn't want to spend a lot of money to incorporate into my make up looks, so I turned to H&M and found two really good products and used them in two different looks, to give you some inspiration on how to incorporate the silver into your make up, without looking like a disco ball.

Merry Christmas… My Christmas Eve Eye Look!

In Denmark we are a bit different and celebrate Christmas on the 24th with Christmas dinner, present-giving and family fun.

So today is my Christmas celebration day and that calls for Christmas eye look.
I tried out this look last weekend and will be re-creating it today.

Festive Fever… Inspiration - Festive Eye Look!

I really enjoyed doing the party outfits (see them here, here and here), so I thought, it would be absolutely appropriate to do a least one festive eye look as well.
I'm a bit late, so this could be a NYE look as well.

This is a bit different for me, as I often go for a more warm golden eye look, but I really wanted to try out something with this amazing silver glitter shadow, I got from H&M.

Red Hot Lashes… Inspiration - Eye Look with Burgundy Mascara!

As promised here is my take on a look with the Kiko Burgundy (plum) Mascara.
(read my initial thoughts on the mascara and other Kiko products here)

How burgundy it actually looks depends on the light - in the sunlight you really see the burgundy, but inside it looks more brown.
But no matter the light, I really like the more soft look it gives and it does a world of wonders for my blue eyes.

Winter Wonder Eye…. A Festive & Frosty Eye Look!

Christmas party, festive feast with the family or even for New Years Eve - this look is inspired by the season of frost, gold and glitter.

Gold n' green with envy… Inspiration - Golden and green eye look!

I found this MAC duo in the back of my eye shadow drawer recently.
I originally mostly got it for the golden brown, which is really unique and I love it.

I wanted to create a more sultry spring look with this duo and went for my go-to method of using pop colour eye shadows - along the lower lash line.

Mod Mode… Trend - Spring make up look with "white" liner!

Where much inspired by the 60's, the white liner is back and this time on the upper lash line.

I seen various versions, and think the look is very fresh and modern.
However I'm not to keen on the totally white, so I had a look around my collection and found this very light blue liner.
And I think it is a great alternative, if you like me think the white is bit to much.

Toasted Pomergranate... An Autumn Eye Look!

As you might know, I have kind of a love/hate relationship with Maybelline Color Tattoos.
The first two I got (the taupe one and the gold one), I hated.
But then I go the Bronze one and loved it - and now I found another one, I love.

Metallic Pomegranate is the perfect color for autumn - It is autumn in a pot!
And it happened to be the inspiration for this autumn eye look.

Right Now... My Current Everyday Eye Look!

In my June Favourites, I mentioned, that I had being doing the same eye look quite a bit recently.

It all started, when I brought MAC Soba, which have quickly become my favourite shadow.

And for this look, I have been pairing it with some other MAC favourites.

A hint of blue... Review & swatch - Rimmel London Scandal'eyes Shadow Stick in Blamed Blue!

Another hit from Rimmel London.

Initially I wasn't going to get any of these, but when I swatched this one, I couldn't resist.
(and it was on offer - always a good excuse for buying).

Let Me Blue Your Mind.... Review and Inspiration - Wet N' Wild ColorIcon in Blue Had Me At Hello!

For spring/summer I like a bit colour pop on my eyes.

This Wet n' Wild palette has some great blues, so create a lovely summer look.
And the price justify getting it only for summer use:-)
(they also do one with purples, I really want).

Terracotta Sunset.... An eye look!

For autumn I loved the reds on the eyes (I still do by the way).
For this spring I'm ready to wear the orange shades.

It all started with a matte nude orange, I got at Inglot - If I should give it a name, I would call it Terracotta!
I really wanted to do a look with this shadow as the inspiration, so I gathered up my other orange toned shadows and ended up with this.

And yes, I'm wearing a kid bandaid on my neck, it's a long story:-)

One Shade of Grey... How to use the grey in Palettes!

We all love our palettes, but I think most of us reach for brown neutral shades mostly.
And I'm no exception.

But I actually think, I have found a good way to use the grey in these palettes.

For this one I have used the Urban Decay Naked Palette.

Magnetic eyes... My Inglot Palette - Review, Swatches and look!

A few years ago Inglot stores popped up everywhere in Copenhagen.
Unfortunately now, there is only one left - it wasn't quit the success in Denmark, as it has been elsewhere.

However I managed to get my hands on my first two shadows before, they closed the store in the centre of Copenhagen.
And I was really impressed right away, and have since expanded my palette to a five piece.

So lets have a look at my palette :-)

Golden Leafs... A golden late autumn/winter eye look!

A little while back, Nic from Pixiwoo made an eye look with gold in the inner corner.
I always go for a white or very light nude in the inner corner, but I really liked the look with the gold there.
(see the video here)
So I decided to re-create the look!

So this is my version.

Red Eyed Girl... How to wear burgundy on the eyes!

Burgundy is a big trend for this autumn, and I love it!
I have actually always loved burgundy eye shadows, however I understand, that it's not for everybody.

But I want to show, that you can do red on the eyes without looking like, you got punched.

Trend: Nude/Neon... On the eyes??!!

So I thought - Why not try this trend as an eye look as well?

My favourite nude/neon combination is with out a doubt nude and pink.
I really think, that used in the right way, pink really makes my blue eyes pop.

So I went for a nude and bright pink eye look.

I know, that this isn't "in-your-face-nude/neon".
But I think it is a really nice and subtitle way to achieve the trend and get some colour into your eye look.
