Magnetic eyes... My Inglot Palette - Review, Swatches and look!

A few years ago Inglot stores popped up everywhere in Copenhagen.
Unfortunately now, there is only one left - it wasn't quit the success in Denmark, as it has been elsewhere.

However I managed to get my hands on my first two shadows before, they closed the store in the centre of Copenhagen.
And I was really impressed right away, and have since expanded my palette to a five piece.

So lets have a look at my palette :-)

My overall impression of the Inglot concept:
As with MAC it can be quit overwhelming with all the colours and different product.
But take your time and ask for a magnetic board, where you can place the shadows, you like, before you decide on you final palette.
I really like the concept, that allows you to make your own palette with the colours and number of shadows that suit your needs.

It's probably different from place to place, but I always find the staff very friendly and helpful, which normally isn't a given in danish shops.

As I mentioned, the selection is very wide, you will almost always be able to find, just the colour you are looking for.

The shadows:
It's probably no surprise, that I really like them.
They are soft, pigmented and smooth.
That goes for both the matte and the shimmery ones.

I think, that you get a really good product for the price.
I don't exactly remember the prices, but I think, that the shadows are DKK 69,- and the palette around DKK 79,-, but I know, that they are much cheaper in other countries.

Swatches:

I really love the palette, I have put together - It's the perfect nude palette, from which I can do both day and night looks!

Inglot shadows don't have names, but only numbers.
I have the following shadows:

No. 29:
A pink iridescence shimmery highlight colour.
I use this for inner corner and brow bone highlighter, but also for all over the lid.

No. 341:
A matte creamy peachy mid nude.
Perfect for all over the lid.

No. 43:
A bronze metallic gold.
For day time I use it in the outer corner, but for night it's perfect for all over the lid.

No. 363:
A darker taupe brown.
I use this mostly for liner.

No. 360:
A rich matte chocolate brown.
This is perfect for the crease and outer corner.

A daytime look with all the shadows:

I used no. 341 all over the lid.
Defined the crease and the outer "V" with no. 360.
Then I added no. 43 to the outer 1/3 of the lid in the "V" and along the lower lash line.
No. 29 for inner corner and brow bone and no. 363 for liner.

I really love this look, and I think it's the perfect every day look.

Conclusion:

I really recommend Inglot shadows, and I love both the concept and the shadows!
And I will with out a doubt get more shadows in the future.

I know, that some have problems with getting the shadows out of the magnetic palettes.
I found that a small sharp knife is the best way :-)
