The One… Review/Swatch - MAC Uninterrupted Eye Shadow!

I have had the MAC shadow in Uninterrupted on my wishlist, in what seems like forever - so when I finally got it, expectations were high.

Fortunately I weren't disappointed - this is with out a doubt my favourite MAC shadow ever!

Liquid Bronze… Review & Swatch - Rimmel London ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Paint!

In terms of make up, my eyes is probably the place, where I most often go for the easy option.
I always do my eyes last, and when I get to this step, I often find my self not having time to do a "real" eye look.

So one-step products like this liquid shadow from Rimmel London is very welcome in my collection.

Join the army... Review and Swatch - L'Oreal Paris Color Infaillible in Sahara Treasure!

Yeah yeah, I know, I wasn't to keen about these Infaillible shadows at first.
But after trying out Forever Pink and still hearing every one raving about them, I decided to try out another one.

This time my eye fell on the colour Sahara Treasure.

Aqua Eyes... Review & Swatch - Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream!

Make Up For Ever is not normally a brand I gravitate towards on my weekly visits to Sephora.

I had an okay, but very short relationship with the Smoky Lash Mascara (it dried up very quickly) and haven't since been overly excited by the brand.

But then something came over me, and one day I found my self swatching almost every one of their Aqua Creams, which is their take on the cream shadows.
As the cream addictive I am, I had to get one.

I ended up with shade 13 (would love if, they gave them some proper names!), which is a very pretty metallic pink champagne shade.

Easy Going.... Inspiration - Cream eyeshadows!

It is no secret, that I love cream make up products.
And that of course also includes cream shadows.

I for the most part use them as bases to make my shadows even more intense.
But lately when I have been in rush, I found that some of them are great alone as well.

So I thought, that I would share the cream shadows, that I think works great alone.

Let Me Blue Your Mind.... Review and Inspiration - Wet N' Wild ColorIcon in Blue Had Me At Hello!

For spring/summer I like a bit colour pop on my eyes.

This Wet n' Wild palette has some great blues, so create a lovely summer look.
And the price justify getting it only for summer use:-)
(they also do one with purples, I really want).

Pink n' Pretty...Review and swatches - L'Oreal Paris Color Infaillible in Forever Pink.

If you follow my blog, you will probably know, that I wasn't to crazy about the Color Infaillible in Hourglass Beige.

Even though I didn't got along with that one to well, I still decided recently to get another colour - It just looked so pretty.
And I'm happy I did.

Eye it up!.... Review and swatches - Make Up Store Eye Shadows!

A few weekends ago I discovered, that the last Inglot store in Denmark is closing (probably closed by now), and if you read my post about the Inglot shadows, you will probably know, that this was quite a disaster in my opinion!

In the same shopping center there is a Make Up Store shop.
I have walked by it for years, but never went in - Don't really know why.
But now when I was on the quest to find a substitute for Inglot, I went in.

And ended up getting three shadows.
Two from their Cybershadow range and one from the Microshadow range.
(Besides the size, I don't really know, what the difference is!)

One Shade of Grey... How to use the grey in Palettes!

We all love our palettes, but I think most of us reach for brown neutral shades mostly.
And I'm no exception.

But I actually think, I have found a good way to use the grey in these palettes.

For this one I have used the Urban Decay Naked Palette.

War of the palettes... Product Battle - Urban Decay Naked Palette vs. Stila in the Light Palette!

A good neutral palette has become a stable in any make up collection!
A trio or quad is no longer sufficient - No, we need palettes with lots of options both matte and metallic.

One the first things I invested in, when I got very interested in make up 1 1/2 year ago, was the Urban Decay Naked Palette, which at that time was the make up item to get!
And I have never regretted it!

Then Stila came with their palettes this year, and the "In the Light" palette quickly became a favourite in the beauty community - So of course I had to have it!

So now I have both, and I was thinking, that it might be helpful to let you know, what I think about the them - and of course which one is my favourite.

A Merry Christmas to all... Review and Swatch - MAC Rose Pigment

So today is the 24th of December!
In Denmark we celebrate Christmas on the 24th and soon I will be heading down to my fathers house, and enjoy a great meal and get (hopefully) lots of presents :-)

I have planed my Christmas outfit for weeks and once I saw Tanja Burr using Rose Pigment from MAC in a simple Christmas tutorial, I knew, it would be perfect for my Christmas make up look.
So I had to have it!

Magnetic eyes... My Inglot Palette - Review, Swatches and look!

A few years ago Inglot stores popped up everywhere in Copenhagen.
Unfortunately now, there is only one left - it wasn't quit the success in Denmark, as it has been elsewhere.

However I managed to get my hands on my first two shadows before, they closed the store in the centre of Copenhagen.
And I was really impressed right away, and have since expanded my palette to a five piece.

So lets have a look at my palette :-)

Autumn Eye Love... Review - Rimmel London Glam Eyes Shadow in Backstage and Fancy Topaz.

One of my first posts was about the Glam Eyes Shadow in Spicy Bronze (see it here), and I was very impressed with that shadow.

So I had high hopes for the Neon summer collection, but they really let me down (see my post about them here).

So I had very mixed expectation, when I decided to buy two of the new autumn colours.

Same, same, but different... Product battle - M.A.C Paintpot vs. Benefit creaseless cream.

So we all know the M.A.C Paintpots, they are very well loved and mentioned all over the online beauty community.

But what if, there were something better out there??!!
(Oh yes, I really mean it!:-))

By mistake I ended up with both a Paintpot and Creaseless Cream from Benefit in pretty much the same colour.

The colours I got are M.A.C Rubenesque and Benefit Sippin' n dippin'.

Trend: Nude/Neon... On the eyes??!!

So I thought - Why not try this trend as an eye look as well?

My favourite nude/neon combination is with out a doubt nude and pink.
I really think, that used in the right way, pink really makes my blue eyes pop.

So I went for a nude and bright pink eye look.

I know, that this isn't "in-your-face-nude/neon".
But I think it is a really nice and subtitle way to achieve the trend and get some colour into your eye look.
