The Try Outs Part I… New Skincare - Clease & tone!

Since the start of this new year (which seems like yesterday, but is actually ages ago), I have been trying out some new bits in the skincare area, as my skin wasn't really looking and feeling its best.

I haven't changed out my whole routine and many of my core products are still the same (you can see me skincare routine here and here), I just tried out and added in some new products here and there to help improve the condition of my skin.

Some I loved and some I liked, but will leave once they are finished.

For this Part I, I will share three cleansing products and a "toner" - for Part II (coming up soon) I will do the serums and moisture products.

Budget Beauty… Essence Lip "Sticks"!

Essence recently launched in Denmark. It is so cheap, that it is really hard to resist, but I tried to restrain myself and did only get one Velvet Stick at first. But I was so excited by that one, that I had to try out more - luckily the range isn't to wide, which set a natural limit.

So I have tried and tested both the Velvet Sticks and a Glossy Stick, and with out revealing to much, I think both a comparable to a high end version, we all love.

Summer Face Part II - Inspiration - Summer make up look feat. eye and lip product reviews!

So as promised I'm back with the second part of my summer make up look with products reviews - if you didn't see the last one, you can see it here.

Just to recap - I did a dewy light base with glossy peachy cheeks, a simple eye with a bright colorful twist and matte lips.

Today I will take you through my thoughts on the NYX eye pencil and liquid liner and the Sephora and NYX matte lip options.

Summer Face Part I… Inspiration - Summer make up look feat. base products and blush review!

Summer is here and I thought it was time for a little make up inspiration, but to mix it up a bit, I will do small reviews on some of the products, I used, that are all somewhat summer appropriate and I haven't talked about before.

I did a dewy base with a glossy cheek, simple eyes with a bright colorful twist and matte lips.

Today I will do face products - including primer, foundation, concealer and blush.
And in a few days I will be back with eyes and lips.

Detox Darling… Review - Caudalie Instant Detox Mask!

Face masks is probably the skincare category, where I most often try out something new.
I love browsing beauty webshops and looking at high rated products, and that is how I found this Caudalie Instant Detox Mask.
My skin has been acting up a bit lately, so I was very much on the look out for something to help with this and it seemed perfect for that.

I have been trying this out the past few weeks and is ready to report.

To-go Eyes… Review - H&M Eye Colour-to-go Pencils!

As I mentioned in my favourites, the H&M Eye Colour-to-go Pencil Cordoba has made it to the top of my best of H&M make up, well actually my best of make up in general!

I'm normally not really a fan of these kind of eye colour jumbo pencils - I often find that even though they swatch good, it doesn't translate on the lids and go on patchy and can be hard to blend out.
But I just couldn't pass up the beautiful colour of Cordoba, a creamy matte midtone brown, and decided to give it go.

Volume on budget… Product Battle/Review - L'Oreal False Lash Sculpt Mascara & Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara!

I find it really hard to keep to just one mascara and buy that one over and over again.
I do have a few, that I have repurchased (which I should probably do a post about), but with all the options and continuously new launches, I just get to tempted.

As I did with these two.
Even though neither L'Oreal nor Revlon do my all time favourite mascaras, I do have had quite good luck with these brands before.

A Trial Run… Review - Rodial Stemcell Superfood Discovery Kit!

I love these kind of try-out kits, so when I saw this Rodial kit on sale at a Copenhagen Department Store, I was very quickly making my way to the till with it.

I have never tried any Rodial products and the brand has never really been on my radar, but I have heard good things and I knew, that it wasn't cheap skincare.
And from the description of this line, it sounded just up my street.

I have now after about 3 weeks come almost to the end of this little kit and is ready to report.

Becca Beam… Review - Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone!

One of my absolute favourite make up products are highlighters - so when I was in the US, I swatched pretty much every highlighter in Sephora including the Becca selections.
I pretty much regretted not getting a Becca highlighter ever since my feet where back on danish ground.

It took me quite a while, but I reached a point a few months ago, where I felt, that I couldn't live without one.

Mud Face… Review - Sephora Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying!

Oh, I love the Internet and especially the beauty/fashion community on the Internet.
If it hadn't been for the beauty community, I would never have bought this one.
I have had some luck with the Sephora Skincare line in the past, but still I would probably never have reached for this one.
But when I heard it was a good dupe for the Glamglow (which I haven't tried though) and I saw the price, I decided, there really was nothing to loose.

I have now been giving it a good try for a couple of months and it ready to report.

A did it again… Review - Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer!

There is no doubt, when it comes to brows Anastasia is the queen and she can do no wrong.
Actually she just gets better and with her newest launch the Brow Definer, she really hit just right with my brow needs.

Ultra Simple Face… Review - Kiehl's Ultra Faciel Toner & Ultra Facial Cleanser!

I have a kind of love/hate relationship with Kiehl's skincare. I love both the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Eye Cream, but the Ultra Facial Moisturiser didn't work for me and irritated my skin.
But after getting some samples of these two in a gift set for Christmas, I was ready to give them a proper try.

I did only get the travel size, but they are very generous and great for a thorough test-run.

A little green wonder… Review/Rave - Weleda Skin Food!

I've mentioned this little fellow a few times before, but somehow I still don't think, I have given it quite the love it deserves.

So that's what I'm doing now.

From start till end… Review - Pixi Glow Mist & MUFE Step 1 Hydrating Primer!

As I mentioned a million times before, I do have a problem with dry skin especially this time of year and also quite dull-looking skin. So I'm always drawn to products, that could help out in that department - also in terms of make up application.

The MUFE Hydrating Primer has been on my wish list for a while, but the Pixi Glow Mist was a total impulse buy.

I have now been trying them out for a while and are ready to report to all you fellow dry skin people.

Get Glossy…. Review - L'Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss!

I'm happy that the glossy look has finally made a come back.
Don't get me wrong, I like a matte or more satin lip from time to time, but a glossy lip just do something a bit more special for me.

So I was happy to see the new L'oreal lip launch, which seemed to go back to roots of lip gloss - a straight up gloss, that isn't trying to be something else.

I got a bright and a nude, both cream, to give them a good try.

Matte Masquerade… Review - L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation!

First of all, sorry I missed Mondays post. I rarely have anything pre-written and I was really not inspired to write anything - and this still is just a hobby.

Today I'm coming to you with a review, that have been in the works for quite a while.
I got the Infallible Matte foundation back before the summer as a result of the major hype surrounding it.
I would normally never even take a look at a matte foundation, but when some of my fellow dewy-natural-foundation-loving-people on the Internet talked great about it, I had to give it go.

Of the street - Review/Haul - H&M Beauty Re-Launced!

I love H&M and have for years, but their beauty department have never really been something I gravitated towards.
Back in the day, before I really got into make up, I did buy a thing or two, but the quality really wasn't there. So for the past years, my H&M beauty buys have only amounted to a nail polishes once in a while.

Recently H&M launched a re-branded, re-vamped, new beauty line. I'm thinking they took inspiration from Topshop's big success with their beauty line and wanted to give it a try themselves.
And so far it is looking quite good, I think.

Sensitivo… Review - First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads!

I have this for quite a while, but just the other day, I realized, that I had never talked about them here.

I do have very sensitive skin, and I didn't react well to the Pixi Glow Tonic - after using it for a month or so, it just dried out my skin so bad.
But I have also had a hard time with physical exfoliators the past year, so I was on the look out for a chemical one, that was still suitable for my sensitive skin.

Brow-isimo… Review - Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade & NYX Tinted Brow Mascara!

I always had, what you could say to be a love/hate relationship with my brows.
During my teen years I hated their unruly state, and it seemed like an almost impossible task to tame or even start plucking them - so I just let them be.
Something I'm really happy about today, as I see so many "over-plucking" cases.

Today I really try to embrace my unruly/wild statement brows and for that I'm always looking for products to help me achieve just the right look.

I got some really good ones in the US, that I wanted to share with you.

Mix It… Review - Cover FX Custom Cover Drops!

First of all, sorry I'm a bit late on my Thursday post. I had my last exam before doing my thesis yesterday, and I hadn't pre-written anything.

If you have seen any of my previous post about foundation, you will see, that I'm quite into mixing.
I do it for multiple reasons, firstly to get the most out of my foundation collection, but also to get the coverage, finish and shade, I want.

So when I first heard about the Custom Cover Drops, I was very intrigued - it really spoke to the mixer in me.
I have now been trying it out in several combinations, so that I can give you the most comprehensive review.
