For autumn I loved the reds on the eyes (I still do by the way).
For this spring I'm ready to wear the orange shades.
It all started with a matte nude orange, I got at Inglot - If I should give it a name, I would call it Terracotta!
I really wanted to do a look with this shadow as the inspiration, so I gathered up my other orange toned shadows and ended up with this.
And yes, I'm wearing a kid bandaid on my neck, it's a long story:-)
As with the reds, I really think orange shades are great for blue eyes.
This is the products I used:
Urban Decay X (love this shadow), Inglot no. 368, Wet N' Wild Penny, Sephora Sun-Kissed, MAC Paintpot in Rubenesque, Make Forever Smoky Lash (review coming soon) and Rimmel London Gel Eyeliner in brown.
I also used Stila Sunset from the In The Light Palette.
Inglot no. 368, Wet N' Wild Penny, Sephora Sun-Kissed, Urban Decay X and Stila Sunset. |
I used MAC Rubenesque as a base and then Inglot 368 all over the lid.
Then I run Penny through the crease and Sun-Kissed in the inner corner and the first 1/3 of the lid.
A long the lower lash line I used X and then darkened up the outer corner with sunset.
For liner I used the Rimmel Gel Liner and then coated the lashes with Smoky Lash.
(for the cheeks I used Topshop Face Sculpting Palette in Kick (review and swatches coming soon) and for lips Rimmel Kate lipstick in no. 16 and Revlon lip gloss in Peony)
So I really like the look and think it's great for both day and night time.
So I hope, you enjoyed and maybe got some inspiration.
