Starting out good… Current Beauty Favourites!

So again I have been away for a while - the final stages of a thesis don't only take time but also mind space!

But this week inspiration kind of came back to me and I have some products, I really want to share with you.

So here are my current beauty favourites - all are new discoveries and pretty much every one of them have made it to the top of the list in their category and will for sure become firm favourites.

First of all, happy New Year - I hope, you all made it into the new year safe and happy.

To begin the year right, I have gathered the beauty products, that I tried for the first time this year and loved.

It is always a hard task, but I tried to narrow it down (but I did cheat just a little bit).

I will do the same as last year and only do a small mention of each product.

I will also do honourable mentions at the end with products, that was runner ups to make it to the official list.

A Small Selection… Current Beauty Favourites!

I thought it was time to share some of the beauty products, which have stood out for me recently.

I have kind of abandoned the idea of monthly favourites for now - but I might return to those in the new year. I will also of course do a "favourites of the year" soon.

But lets look at the small selection of products, which in addition to my on-going staples, have been the ones I have reached for.

So I have really been reaching for the a lot of the same products the past few months. There are some really good ones, I have been eager to share with you amongst them.

Most of them are new additions, but one is an old favourite, I have rediscovered.

I will go through everything, I have on my face, but I will only go into more detail on the products, that are my current standout favourites.

So I have had a break - probably the longest since I started this blog quite a few years ago now.

This is still just a hobby for me and therefore is one the things, that come last in my priorities and inspiration is key to keeping it up, and I just haven't had the inspiration or need to share anything.

But now that the weather is changing to the darker, I found myself thinking about products, I wanted to share and ideas for style post - so now I'm back and hopefully to stay.

I starting out with a good old classic - a current beauty favourites.

This does not include make up, as I will do a separate post with my current make up look including my current favourite products.

June Jewels… June Beauty Favorites!

Some one once told me, that when you get older, it feels like time is going by faster - I totally get that.

I remember, when I was a kid and a school year felt like the longest time ever. Hell even the summer holiday felt really long.

I don't feel like this any more at all - time just goes by so quickly and sometimes I really wish, I could pause it for just a bit once in a while.

But enough philosophic rant about time for now - lets look at my June beauty favourites.

Summer has really been creeping up on me, but I have still been influenced by it in some ways in my May favourites.

Yet another month and finally spring really sprung in Denmark (we actually have summer weather right now!).

I gathered a little bunch of products, I have been reaching for and really enjoying this month.

A bit belated… January/February Beauty Favoruites!

Just as I was getting back on track with the posting, I got the feared man-flu!

So therefore my monthly favourites are coming a bit late this month and as I missed January favourites, this one covers both January and February.

So long 2015… My top 15 new beauty discoveries of 2015!

Oh, it has been a while - last we spoke, it was still 2015.

2015 was very uneventful year for me - no major changes or life events. My holiday in the U.S. last summer is probably the most memorable thing.

However I did stumble across some good beauty products in 2015, and as per usual I'm going to share the ones, that stood out and have become real favourites, that I will bring with me into 2016.

I'm not going to spend much time on each product, as I have probably talked about it loads before, but I will make sure to link to reviews, favourites where they were mentioned etc.

September Selection… September Beauty Favourites!

Where did September go? 

The fact that I felt, this month flew by like nobodies business, is somewhat reflected in this months favourites, as I only have a few.

And half of them are actually hair-related, which is very rare for me.

So lets go.

American Love… August Beauty Favourites!

Pretty much every item in this months favourites are "souvenirs" from my trip to the U.S. back in July.

You probably saw it coming with all the reviews, I have posted the past month. 

I'm almost done, I only have one thing left, that I'm definitely planning to review and that one will be coming up soon.

However I might feature some other purchases in future posts as well.

But for now lets look at the products, that really stood out to me this month.

(I got a lot of stuff besides these, that I also really like, but these are the ones, I have been reaching for the most).

May be late… May Beauty Favourites!

So I am a bit late on my Thursday post this week, so instead it is going to be a Saturday Bonus Post with my May favourites.

The reason for this delay shall be found in why May was quite a manic month, I had my exam in Civil Procedure this Thursday, and I don't think, I have every been so nervous and anxious for an exam - but I made it, and that with a result, that I'm very happy about!

So now I'm just looking forward to what June have to offer, mostly till the end of June, where I'm going on my holiday to California! 

But for now lets look at my May favourites.

This months favourites are a bit different - no skincare or haircare, but quite a few blushes.

March Matters… March Beauty Favourites!

This was a month of surprises - I tried some new products, that really left some very positive impressions and I found new use for some old ones.

And can we just take a moment to talk about, how fast this year is going.

But hey, spring is here and that I really appreciate that.

What they said #2… Products worth the hype - Drugstore/High Street!

So now we made it to the budget friendly category in my "worth the hype" series.

If you haven't see the first part regarding high end, go give it a look here.

I love the "drugstore" products and is often a bit less hesitant to try new things in this category, than when it comes to more expensive products.

With more buys come more misses, but the products below are great ones, that I would absolutely buy again and again, and that is totally worth the hype surrounding them.

Feb Fav… February Beauty Favourites!

Sorry I have been a bit MIA for the past weeks - had a tax law exam, that really took the best of me!

But what better way to come back, than with a favourites filled with goodies.

What they said #1… Products Worth The Hype - High end!

Is there one thing, the online beauty-community is good at, it is to create a good amount of hype surrounding a given beauty product.

As much as I try not to, I often cave and give into the hype - but I do always make sure to do my research (especially when it is products in the high end price-wise).

I thought, it was time to share the products, that I found was worth the hype and are amongst my all time favourites.

I have split it into two - this one, which is products in the high end, which I find the most interesting, because with a higher price, comes higher expectations.

The next one is going to be drugstore/high street.

Finally I will do one with products, I don't think gets enough love.
