Pretty much every item in this months favourites are "souvenirs" from my trip to the U.S. back in July.
You probably saw it coming with all the reviews, I have posted the past month.
I'm almost done, I only have one thing left, that I'm definitely planning to review and that one will be coming up soon.
However I might feature some other purchases in future posts as well.
But for now lets look at the products, that really stood out to me this month.
(I got a lot of stuff besides these, that I also really like, but these are the ones, I have been reaching for the most).
Body & Fragrance
First on my to-buy list, when I made it to California, was some tan-in-tube to take away the worst pastiness on my legs.
I went for the Jergens Natural Glow Gradual Tan Moisturiser - it is a bit more thick than the one, I usually use from L'Oreal, which makes it harder to distribute, but also more moisturising.
It really gives a beautiful natural tan within a few days, so I have continued using it after returning back home, as we have had shorts-weather in Denmark most of August.
I got two rollerball perfumes in Sephora - I think, it is a great concept.
First I got the very raved about Elizabeth & James Nirvana and a few days before, we went back home, I fell in love with Nest White Sandalwood.
Both are wonderful and very unique scents in the more "dark" end scent-wise.
Hair & Skin
I have tried a quite a few deep cleansing Shampoos, and I never really saw the difference between the expensive and the cheap, so I got this TreSemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo, and it is a favourite for the price-tag, which is very reasonable. It does just as good a job as the more expensive ones.
If you read my post about the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment, it is probably no surprise, that it made it into my favourites.
This is an amazing hair products, that does a bit of it all without doing to much.
(see my review here)
I'm still on the look out for a new moisturiser, especially now, when we are coming into the colder months. But for now the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Riche is doing quite a good job at keeping my skin looking fresh and feeling moisturised.
The Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye is great night eye treatment, that keeps the area moisturised and definitely helps with the dark circles and bags under the eyes.
And best of all, it doesn't irritate my skin.
Make up
My new brow duo the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade and NYX Brow Mascara has changed my brow game, so I had to feature them in my favourites.
They do make the process a bit longer, but the result is amazing.
(see my post about them here)
For lips I have been turning to my Bite Beauty Lip Pencils in Amarone and Meritage.
They are just the my absolute favourite lip products right now.
(see them on the lips here).
The Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser Brightening Concealer is a game-changer.
I have, as I mentioned in a post about the two, also really been loving the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye, but have been reaching for the Maybelline one most days - probably mostly because I have back-up of that one :-)
I got quite a few blushes on my trip and I'm loving all of the them, but this Tarte Blush in Fearless is the one, that I felt should make it into my favourites this month.
It is a beautiful colour and great lasting-power.
I stepped up my contour game with the NYX blush in Taupe and the Sephora Multitasker Countour brush.
This is a great combination - I especially love the brush, which is very unique in its shape.
Lastly I have been embracing the strobing to its full this past month, and the L'Oreal Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator in Ice has been a great partner in this.
I will do a strobing post soon.
So these were my August favourites - hope you enjoyed.
