Where did September go?
The fact that I felt, this month flew by like nobodies business, is somewhat reflected in this months favourites, as I only have a few.
And half of them are actually hair-related, which is very rare for me.
So lets go.
Hair
Purple shampoo/conditioner is an absolute must, when you are a blondie.
The Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde shampoo and conditioner are the best, I have tried.
I use them about once a week and often, when I have some extra time, so that I can leave both the shampoo and conditioner in my hair for a little while - you know, around the time of a leg shave or body scrub.
I been so much more into curling my hair, since I got my long bob back in January and recently I rediscovered this Remington Curling Wand - unfortunately I don't think, they do it any more, but any curling tool with quite a thick wand will do - it is not so much this one, but the look it creates, which is great for shorter hair.
(you can see the style I create with it here).
Lastly to finish of my hair styles, curled or straight, I have been loving the Bumble and Bumble SemiSumo Pomade - perfect hold, texture and shine.
Cheeks and eyes
The Hourglass blushes are probably in my opinion some of the absolute best, and this month I have been loving the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Influsion.
It is the most beautiful light true peach blush, that gives an amazing glowing look without a ton of shimmer.
It is probably best for the lighter skin tones though.
I created this little MAC quad for my US ship, and have never put them back into my big palette - and I have found myself reaching for it a whole lot this month.
Mostly Vex (top left corner) all over the lid with Soba (bottom left corner) in the crease, but also Woodwinked (top right corner) all over the lid for going out, sometimes with a bit of Grain (bottom right corner) in the crease and along the lower lashline.
Lips
I got the Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien in the Sephora birthday gift set, and it has quickly become my favourite and go-to lip product.
It is just such an easy-to-wear/go-with-everything colour and texture.
I'm definitely getting the full size!
The H&M lip definer in Pressed Petals has been my bright lip of the month.
And these were my very quick September favourites - hope you enjoyed.
