So I am a bit late on my Thursday post this week, so instead it is going to be a Saturday Bonus Post with my May favourites.
The reason for this delay shall be found in why May was quite a manic month, I had my exam in Civil Procedure this Thursday, and I don't think, I have every been so nervous and anxious for an exam - but I made it, and that with a result, that I'm very happy about!
So now I'm just looking forward to what June have to offer, mostly till the end of June, where I'm going on my holiday to California!
But for now lets look at my May favourites.
Complexion
Another hit from Real Techniques with the Real Technique Sculpting Brush - great for contour, but also blending in foundation, concealer and cream blush! And soft as all the Real Technique brushes.
This month I got the opportunity to try out the much hyped Marc Jacobs Beauty products, and the Marc Jacobs Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation really surprised me, because I hadn't really heard anything about it, but I think it is amazing!
I do need to make sure my skin is really moisturised, because it do have a slight tendency (really nothing major) to sit in the pores and dry patches, but the feeling and look is great.
This is a returning favourite, the Soap & Glory Glow All Out Powder - doesn't look like much, but it just gives the skin a nice healthy subtle glow, and you don't have to be to precise with the application.
Great if you are bit scared of the very glittery/metallic highlighters.
Eyes
I like Benefit Roller Lash, but I like it even better with Marc Jacobs O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara on top.
It has been my go to combination this month.
However I would not recommend the Marc Jacobs alone, but the Roller Lash can be recommended!
Oh holy molly, the Marc Jacob Lolita Palette is worth every bit of the hype.
Buttery smooth shadows in wonderful colours.
BTW, see the Marc Jacobs products in action here.
Lips
I have been loving a rusty rose lip, and for that I have used the Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Liner in Intense Pink, a beautiful more bright rose pink.
On top I have gone for either the Maybelline Color Elixir in Caramel Infused or Bourjois Aqua Laque in Appechissant (review coming up) - both a lovely rose, but with slightly different finishes.
Body and nails
I think, I had the Bobbi Brown Beach Perfume in my favourites around the same time last month.
It smells straight up like summer and sunscreen, and I love it!
A perfume I will be repurchasing again and again and love every spring/summer.
Another product, that really leads you thoughts to summer and sun, is the Body Shop Honey Body Butter - great scent and extremely moisturising.
Last month it was Dior Lip Glow and this month, I have been loving the Dior Nail Glow.
Perfect for lazy days, where I can't be bothered to paint my nails, but still want them to look polished!
So this was it for this month - I have quite a few reviews coming up in the nearest future including the above mentioned Aqua Laque.
