This was a month of surprises - I tried some new products, that really left some very positive impressions and I found new use for some old ones.
And can we just take a moment to talk about, how fast this year is going.
But hey, spring is here and that I really appreciate that.
Skincare
These two cleanser was really a pleasant surprise.
I got the Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser in a set with my all time favourite Caudalie Beauty Elixir. It was on sale, so it was cheaper than the Beauty Elixir alone.
I wasn't really planing on using the cleanser, but one day I ran out of my normal morning cleanser from Lavera, so I gave this a go, and I really liked it.
It is one of these "do the job without any fuzz" cleansers. I prefer a "good" cleanse in the morning and for that, this is perfect, but some people might find it a bit stripping.
But I think it will be a treat for oily/sensitive skin.
I have been looking for a more affordable make up removal oil, but had pretty much given up hope, so I didn't have to high expectations for this Sephora Supreme Cleansing Oil.
But it is as good as higher end version, such as MAC and for me better than the one from the Body Shop.
It is only around £ 9 (I haven't been able to find it on the US Sephora webshop, so I don't know, if it is only available in the EU)
Body care
I having been very interested in the brand Rituals, after falling in the love with their Miracle Balm for hands.
So I have been browsing the little shop in shop, they have in one of the department stores here in Copenhagen, several times.
I was in the marketed for a new body butter, and when I gave the Rituals Honey Touch Body Cream a sniff, I just knew, I had found my new one.
The smell is divine and it is so light and not sticky at all, but still gives moisture like a butter.
Make up
I found myself running out of every one of my drugstore foundations, that I tend to use for everyday.
Only having my Nars Sheer Glow (that I save for special days/nights), the Nars Tinted Moisturizer (that I do love, but prefer for summer) and the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder, that ended up being my everyday choice for the beginning of the month.
It actually has really good coverage and I'm still baffled that is gives such a nice luminous look.
The star of my Kiko order definitely ended up being the Kiko Super Colour Mascara in Plum, that have been on my lashes most days.
I love the look - a post with a look featuring this is coming soon.
Tools
The Real Technique Miracle Complexion Sponge has had many uses in my routine, but right now I'm loving it for blending in concealer.
I find, that where other sponges like this need to be wet to really work, this is fine dry.
It gives an absolutely flawless finish and the shape is great for concealer.
After my love affair with the Louise Young Super Foundation Brush, I decided, that I really needed this super soft Sephora Pro Airbrush (no. 55).
This is kind of a cross between a Buffing brush and the Super Foundations brush - it has longer bristles like the Super Foundations brush, but more of a fluffy feel like the Buffing brush, just not as dense.
I love it for a really natural look, but it is best with more liquid foundations!
So these were my March favourites - hope you enjoyed.
