I have this for quite a while, but just the other day, I realized, that I had never talked about them here.
I do have very sensitive skin, and I didn't react well to the Pixi Glow Tonic - after using it for a month or so, it just dried out my skin so bad.
But I have also had a hard time with physical exfoliators the past year, so I was on the look out for a chemical one, that was still suitable for my sensitive skin.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads |
I have had a bit of a hit and miss relationship with First Aid Beauty, and some of their products, that did actually say "suitable for sensitive skin", did irritate my skin.
So I got this without to many expectations.
Lets start with the positive - it does not irritate my skin at all.
I use it one to two times a week, and have done so for 6 months and haven't had any bad reactions.
I really like the presoaked pads, which makes sure you get just the right amount.
With that said, the effect isn't overwhelming.
I do feel, that my skin is looking somewhat brighter and more smooth the day after, but it isn't an amazing change.
So if you have a need for a good and thorough exfoliation, this is probably not enough.
But together with me using either my Foreo Luna or a Konjac Sponge with my cleanser every evening, it is enough to renew and exfoliate my skin.
I could probably live without this products, but I do enjoy using it to give my skin an extra little perk.
For that I will give it a 3 on the Rating Scale.
