I'm Back… My life - USA Holiday!

So I'm back in Denmark - not happy at all.

I really enjoyed my holiday in the U.S., and really didn't want to come back home.

To get me started again, I'm going to share some holiday photos. 

This is only a very small selection of them and just to give you an idea of, what we did.

If you follow my blog, you will probably have noticed, that I have quite a few times referenced to my upcoming holiday to the US - something I have been looking very much forward to.

The day is now almost here, I'm leaving tomorrow and will be back in three weeks time.

Surprise… A day in my life in pictures - August 18th 2014!

Recently one of my best friends turned 30. Instead of a regular present, me and my other very good friend decided to give her a day out with us.

It was a great day, but be prepared for a lot of food pictures and selfies in this one :-)

Summer in The City… A day in my life in pictures - August 1st 2014!

So currently I'm on my summer break from Uni.

This means, that besides the 2-3 days a week I spend at my student job, I pretty much have a lot of time to do, what ever I want - so no guilty feeling, when I spend a whole day watching Youtube in bed!

But once in a while the cozy at home life gets a bit boring, and as it has just been pay-day, I decided to give the physical shops a visit.

Doing these in Denmark proved to be quite a task - I had good intentions several days, but just kind of forgot.

But yesterday I managed to somewhat document my day in pictures.

I had a hair appointment, which was long overdue!

Afterwards I went into the busy Copenhagen Shopping street and the day ended with snacks and Youtube (what else?!)

I'm on my last two weeks of my stay here in the UK, and just felt like seeing something new.

I had thought about going up to London again, but I've been in London so many times, and you can always go to London.

So I decided to explore another south coast city - Brighton.

Actually I also apply and got accepted at University of Sussex, which is very near Brighton, but decide to go with Southampton, as they had a better and for me more relevant module selection.

However I always kind of knew, that Brighton was a more interesting city.

So I wanted to see, what I had missed out on (city-wise) by choosing Southampton.

Two of my absolutely favourite activities are shopping and eating out :-)

So after handing in my 3rd out of 4 essays, I decided to have a relax day and really try to enjoy this town before I leave for good (which is very soon).

The Longest Day of My Life… A day in my life in pictures - 23rd December 2013.

So this is a bit late, because I was pretty much exhausted the rest of my Christmas Holiday at home, so I didn't really feel up to experiencing this day all over again.

However I wanted to share this day with you and also to have the memory and the reminder, that I did actually make it home.

So the 23rd of December was the day, I was scheduled to fly back home for Christmas, which I had looked forward to for weeks.

Late on Saturday the 21st, I realised that a storm was to hit the UK on the 23rd!

I kind of panicked and a million thoughts went through my head.

I went through a lot of solutions, but ended up with heading up to the airport very early to make sure, I would not miss my flight, because I couldn't get up to the airport.

So my day started at 3.30 am at the coach station, all packed and ready to go.

Taking a day off… A day in my life in pictures - 18th December 2013!

Right now I'm working on my final essays, that will count for my final mark in my modules here in the UK.

My aim is to have three of my four essays done before I go home on Christmas holiday on Monday.

And it has been going so well, that I felt, it was okay to take a day of from writing.

As I'm flying back home soon, most of the day was used doing laundry and packing.

I have a lot of stuff, that I need to get back to Denmark, so I'm bringing two suitcases with me this time, and plan on returning with them empty and then two again, when I go back home for good end January.

However I did also go into town - for two very specific things :-)

Very ordinary… A day in my life in pictures - 10th December 2013!

So I have had this blog for a year and a half, and I actually started it as a beauty dairy for myself.

Recently I have been wanting to do other stuff than just beauty, but couldn't really figure out what.

I got very inspired by all the vlogmas going around on Youtube right now.

However I will not now, nor ever, be a Youtuber or Vlogger - the simple task of taking a selfie is a struggle for me :-)

This inspiration together with the main idea of this blog as a diary, gave me the idea for these "a day in my life in pictures".

There will still be some special focus on the beauty in these posts (as you will see), but mostly it will just be snaps of my day.

I don't lead a particular interesting every day life, but I thought, I would start out with a very normal ordinary day.
