So I have had this blog for a year and a half, and I actually started it as a beauty dairy for myself.
Recently I have been wanting to do other stuff than just beauty, but couldn't really figure out what.
I got very inspired by all the vlogmas going around on Youtube right now.
However I will not now, nor ever, be a Youtuber or Vlogger - the simple task of taking a selfie is a struggle for me :-)
This inspiration together with the main idea of this blog as a diary, gave me the idea for these "a day in my life in pictures".
There will still be some special focus on the beauty in these posts (as you will see), but mostly it will just be snaps of my day.
I don't lead a particular interesting every day life, but I thought, I would start out with a very normal ordinary day.
1. All clean and moisturised 2. Is trying out this set from Caudalie (review coming up)
3. Needed some extra care for my skin this morning - Soap & Glory Righteous Butter.
4. Scent of the day, Diesel Loverdose, one of my absolute favourite perfumes.
5. My scratching advent calender 6. Only three Santas from winning DKK 50.000,-
7. Make up products of the day (sorry the foundation and concealer is missing)
8. Face of the day 9. OOTD (ASOS Boots, ASOS Tee, Primark Trouser, River Island Cardi/coat, Forrest & Bob Necklace and Primark Beanie)
1. My breakfast, seed toast french toast with strawberries and maple syrup.
2. My current beauty table, I do miss my vanity table at home 3. A fail OOTD at the bus stop
4. A selfie at the bus stop, a man walked by, which resulted in this facial expressions.
5. Bus trip to Uni. 6. This is my last week of classes before Christmas, today was my last EU Competition law class. However now awaits a few weeks with summative assignments before I got home for Christmas 7. Killing some time before class with my favourite iPhone game, Candy Crush.
8. My favourite Supermarket, I'm so going to miss Sainsbury 9. What I got, just snacks.
1. Afternoon tea and crumpets - how British am I?? 2. My guilty pleasure - Youtube!
3. Skype catch up with one of my favourite girl, Skype is a brilliant invention.
4. Evening face cleansing routine (Remove make up with Antipodes Butter Cleanser, make sure it is all of with the L'Oreal Cleaning water and a final wash with the Lavera Cleanser on the Sephora Exfoliating disc) 5. My candle of choice right now - Primark Firewood Fig 6. Late night snack, carrots and Sainsbury humus. I tried to make my own, but don't really see the point, when Sainsbury do it so well.
So this was a very ordinary day in my life here in the UK.
For the future, I will probably do this on days, where I do a bit more, but as I said, why not start with an ordinary day.
