New in Nails… My Autumn/Winter Nail Polish Additions!

As I mentioned before, I really try to limit myself to only 2-3 new polishes per season - I do however divide my nail year into four seasons.

I'm quite pleased with my Autumn/Winter picks for this year, even though some of them didn't really turn out to be, what I really wanted once on my nails.

Lets take a closer look at them.

Space Cadet… Style Inspiration - Metallic Silver!

As I mentioned before, I not by per definition a trend follower - I have my staple wardrobe and every season I normally get drawn to a trend or two. As you know, I'm quite fond of the badge-trend, we saw this Autumn.

It is often one of those micro-trends, that I come a cross by checking the "new in" section on my favourite webshops pretty much every day.

One of the micro-trends, that really caught my eye coming into Winter has been metallic - especially silver.

It started with the cami top from H&M, which undoubtedly looks like something my mom had in her closet in the late 80's or early 90's and from then, I found myself searching for "silver" on all the shops.

So I gathered some inspiration for this trend.

I have been so lazy with my nails these past months, but the other day I saw a small video on the Nails Inc Instagram, that gave me the inspiration for this easy nail art.

This one is great if you have shorter fingers and want to elongate your them without having to have long nails.

New In Nails… Review - Nails Inc. re-packed and reformulated!

Nails Inc. recently changed their packaging and came out with some new collections.

Nail polish is my addition, so of cause, I had to get me some.

Winter Ombre…. Nail of the day!

I normally go for bright colours, when I do a ombre nail.

But I saw this picture somewhere with a nude ombre and got really inspired.

So I forwarding the inspiration to you guys.

Blue Bundle… Blue Nail Polish Edit!

Blue is actually my favourite colour - or lets change that to everything from a mid bright blue to dark navy is my favourite colour.

Despite of this blue is not a colour I normally go for in nail polish, however I did still manage to gather four I really like.

And it is a good mix of cream, metallic and glitter and a light and dark.

Nail No No… Disappointing Nail Product!

Just because I haven't been posting a lot about nails recently, doesn't mean, that I haven't been trying out new nail polishes and products.

Some have been good and some have been not so good.

I want to share with you the not so good ones in this post.

Nail on... Autumn Nail Polish Picks Part 1!

So I haven't really been that inventive with my nails, since coming to the UK - to be honest, I just really can't be bothered and I don't really have the space, time or tools to do great nail art or creative NOTD's.

Also my nail polish collection is a bit limited being away from home :-)

But nail polish is still my one great beauty passion, so I wanted to share my favourite autumn nail polishes, some of the them old favourites and some new discoveries.

Texture polishes are all the rave right now, and when I saw the feather polished from current favourite nail polish brand Nails Inc., I was very intrigued. 

So for this manicure, I combined the texture trend with the new simple dot trend.

It will probably come as no surprise, but I love nail polish.

It's probably my biggest obsession.

One of my recent nail polishes favourites is this black/white "glitter" polish from L'Oreal.

Together with some favourites from my new favourite nail polish brand, Nails Inc., I did this manicure.

Just add a dot... Nail of the day!

It only takes one dot to update your manicure from ordinary to, well maybe not extraordinary, but at least more interesting :-)

This probably one of the easiest and most clever nail art, I have seen in a while.

If 2012 was OPI - 2013 has until now been Nails Inc.

I'm so addicted to Nails Inc. polishes at the moment.

Their selection is so great, the formulation great and the names reminds me of London, which I love.

So recently I added two new Nails Inc. polishes to my collection.

I have had them on my wish list for quite a while, so it was a happy day, when the finally came:-)

And I love them together!

I realised, that metallic and neon goes very well together.

And I really like the look of these nails.

They are so easy to do, and I got a lot of compliments on them.

This month I only bought two new polishes!

Yes, I know - I was good :-)

But oh what two!

I'm quite sure, they will be two new favourites!

Some of the polishes I have gotten the last few months have quickly become some of my favourites.

This is the polishes I got from Beautybay.com (featured in my Pink Mushroom NOTD), but also the OPI Golden eye.

So I find myself reaching for them every time, I'm painting my nails.

I had an ombre look in mind for this look, but ended up with this :-)

So one of my favourite beauty web shops Beautybay.com did a Black Friday sale, with 20 % of everything.

So I took this opportunity to get some nail polishes, I have been wanting for a while.

And when I got them, I of course had to try all of the right away!

So I created this look with the three polishes, I got.

I have never tried any Nails Inc polishes, but always wanted to.

So when they came out with these new Graffiti Effect polishes, which I found quit interesting, I saw it as a good opportunity to try Nails Inc out!
