So this is the last part in my little badge series. This time I will style the ASOS Blue Shirt.
As I mentioned in my first badge post, I really like the contrast between this classic piece and the badges.
I did a more formal and a casual option as with the bomber, and trying also so incorporate some other A/W trends.
Outfit one
// ASOS Shirt // H&M Pleather Skirt // ASOS Colour Block Wool Coat // & Other Stories Boots // // Whistles Clutch // |
For my more formal option, I paired the shirt with another "trendy" piece, a pleather skirt - it turns the outfit in a more sexy and feminine directly and is a great contrast to the kind of boyish shirt.
Re-use the black ankle boots from outfit one with the bomber.
For a bit of a statement add a trendy wool coat (preferable in green or/and dark blue) and a metallic clutch.
I would probably do tights with this one for warmth and as the skirt is a bit short.
Outfit two
// ASOS Shirt // Topshop Raw Hem Jeans // H&M Army Jacket // H&M Gold Slip In Shoes // // ASOS Beanie // Zara Cross Body Bag // |
For the casual look go to some staples, most of us have in a wardrobe - a pair of grey or black jeans (whatever fit you prefer) and an army jacket.
Add gold or other statement shoes (red would be great to), a cross body bag in a earth tone and a grey beanie.
This is a bit of a mix match outfit, but that is what really makes it look cool and effortless chick.
It is also for the warmer Autumn days - you could add a hoodie under the army jacket and go with some statement sneakers or boots instead for a bit more warmth.
So I hope, this gave you some inspiration and if you were a bit hesitant with the badge-trend, made you see, that it can be very wearable.
Will it ever be formal office appropriate? Probably not! But a lot of fun trends aren't, so we just have to wear them in our free-time!
