I have been reaching for my Badge Bomber as often as possible - I only let it hang, if I have been wearing another statement piece (like my new silver boots)!
Because that is pretty much the most important thing, in styling this piece - let it shine alone!
I have styled it up in two ways - a more formal and a more casual! However the bomber itself has quite a casual look, so it is not one to wear for a very formal occasion.
Outfit one
// Weekday Shirt Dress // H by Henry Holland Bomber // & Other Stories Boots // Whistles Crossbody bag // |
I own a lot of black, which is one of the reasons, why I really like these kind of statement items, which give my somewhat boring black outfits a bit of something extra.
So for a night out, a date, going out for dinner or a movie, I would take one of my many black shirt dresses and black ankle boots - add tights or skinny jeans for warmth, if needed.
To mix it up just a tad, add a not black cross body bag.
Simple and the bomber really gets the room to shine.
Outfit two
// H&M Fine Knit // H&M Joggers // H by Henry Holland Bomber // Adidas Sneakers // // ASOS Beanie // & Other Stories Bag // |
This is a more relaxed outfit - good for shopping, lunch, brunch or just running errands.
Take a dark pair of more formal joggers, add a grey fine knit, white sneakers and a grey bag to tie in with the knit.
Finally add a bright red or orange beanie to give it a bit more umpf, without outshining the bomber.
You could also go black or grey, if you think the bright is a bit much.
I have worn almost this extract outfit to brunch recently and it looked amazing and I felt good in it!
Remember feeling good in what you wear is always the most important accessory :-)
Come back in a few days to see how I style the Blue shirt with badges.
