After my success with Head & Shoulders, I have now moved on to Garnier Ultimate Blends in my drugstore haircare try-out-project.
I went with this one, because I had heard great things about the 1 minute treatment, which meant that I actually opted for that one instead of the regular conditioner.
Also I really liked the sound of coconut oil and cocoa butter - and it was on offer at Boots.com.
These ingredients ae also the source of one of the only good things, I have to say about this set (unfortunately), which is the scent.
I'm normally not that into cocoa butter, but together with the coconut, it smell like you are lathering you hair in a Bounty Bar - not that bad, if you ask me.
I really don't like the shampoo - for several reasons.
Firstly it irritates my scalp, and actually reminds me, why I left really cheap haircare behind for better and more expensive thing, because they do often have a tendency to irritate my scalp.
Secondly I don't feel, that it cleans my hair very well.
My hair doesn't feel weighted down after use, but it just feels like, there is sort of a "coating" on my hair.
As I'm one of the few, that like my hair best when it is super duper clean, this just doesn't work for me.
However if you are more into second day hair, this could maybe for you, because it kind give the hair a bit of "a dirty feel".
All in all the scent is probably the only really good thing, I have to say about it.
The 1 minute treatment is okay, but I still feel, there is much better things out there.
So this gets a very low rating from me - probably 1,5 out of 5 (and the 1 being for the scent), where I in comparison would give Head & Shoulders 4,5 out of 5.
