Am I growing up?… Current Non-Beauty Favourites!

Me growing up? - Nah, not really.
But I have been quite a bit more into house-stuff recently, which could be seen as a sign of turning into a real adult.

This is reflected in my current random favourites, but it is a good mix of a bit of everything.

House and food (aka. grown-up shit)
Water has to been enjoyed cold, so I always have chilled water in my fridge, and this IKEA 365+ Carafe with cork stopper is looking real nice in there.
I have also been warming up to the whole "having-plants-in-the-house" idea, but I am still not really suitable to take care of high maintenance plants, so I love succulents (even though I have also managed to kill one of those). I got them in a supermarket, but IKEA also have really nice ones.

When you are a beauty-lover, a vanity is an absolute must and probably one of my favourite places in my apartment (except for my bed).
Recently I changed up my little "beauty" set up, and I went with all IKEA.
If you have very limited space, the MICKE table is great, and the drawer is actually really spacious, however I had to get some additional storage and for that, the KUPOL system is amazing - it comes in individual sections, that you put together to fit your needs.

I have been obsessed with almond butter. If you follow me on Instagram (juliemb5), you would have seen, that I, a while back, made some myself.
If was fine, but not easy!
I did it, because the "made-version", I found in a store, was really expensive.
Recently my mom found this one kilo "bucket" at a very reasonable price on a nutrition webshop and it is really good.
I use it as a fruit dip - it goes really well with apples and plums.

Clothes and accessories
I had these H&M Strappy Ballet Flats in my basket for so long, and finally I just had to get them.
They are not comfortable, and they did give my a huge blister, when wearing them this weekend, but they just look AMAZING on - so they are still a favourite, just not for walking to far.

Autumn is fast approaching and that means scarf-time.
I have pretty much only been reaching for this ASOS Aztec print scarf. It is a great addition to my very black and dark outfits.

I featured this H&M Kimono Style Coat in my autumn style wishes and also confessed, that I had bought it and loved it.
I still do, and it is by far my most worn piece right now - it just goes with everything and it perfect for this kind of undeceive weather, we have right now.

Lastly a little & Other Stories long gold necklace (it really wouldn't be a favourites without a & Other Stories item) - Unfortunately this isn't online, but their whole autumn selection is really great, so go take a look in store or online.

Gadget
I have been wanting a clothes steamer for quite a while, but was concerned if it would really work.
I read a lot of good reviews on this Philips Steam & Go and decided to give it go.
I got it for my birthday, and I love it - it is as good as the reviews said, if not better.
You just look so much more polished and put together, when your clothes is freshly steamed and crease-free.
I couldn't recommend this enough!

TV and Social Media
In the beginning of August, I didn't really have anything to watch on Netflix.
When visiting a friend, I got my eye up for an old favourite of mine, Bones, and started watching it from the beginning.
I rarely start a TV Show with that many seasons, but I have been flying through them and is now on season 7, and I really don't know, what to do, when I'm finished.

I also went through another show very quickly - I watched the first season of How to get away with murder in two days, and now I feel really sad, that I have to wait probably a whole year, before the second season will be on Netflix.
Being a law student, I really think, they have incorporated the element of criminal law in this show very well.
I highly recommend it, and even though it is a bold statement, I think, I do prefer it to Scandal.

In the Youtube world my favourite right now is Lily Melrose, especially her vlog channel, where she has been doing a lot of moving vlogs.

I love looking at wedding dresses, and the Instagram profile Christian Oth Studio, combines beautiful wedding dresses with amazing photography.
Check it out if you are just a closet-wedding-lover (like me) or maybe even planning a wedding :-)

So these were my current random favourites - hope you enjoyed and maybe got some inspiration.
