These kind of two step mascaras have been on the market (especially within the L'Oreal range) for a while.
It never really spiked my curiosity before, but after trying the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer, I was kind of ready to give one a go.
So when L'Oreal launched one in the False Lash line, I couldn't resist.
Lets just get it out there - it didn't impress me at all.
If I have to go through the extra fuss of primer, I expect it to do something extra - especially make the mascara last longer.
This doesn't do anything and it is probably the worse flaking-wise of all the mascaras, I have tried for a while.
The wands are okay, but don't really work for me, as I like a more "standard" shape.
And in terms of effect, it is really not anything special, and very far from Superstar potential!
It makes my lashes look weird and spiky.
It gives somewhat okay volume, but if I have to use a lengthening mascara as well, it is just not worth it!
So this is not a winner, and certainly not a Superstar!
So I have so go the absolute low end of the Rating Scale, and I give it a 1.
