I love me a bit of balm. So one day when I was browsing Feelunique.com and stumbled across this brand, it really spiked my interest.
Balm Balm is a 100 % organic/natural skincare line. I have really good experiences with organic skincare, so that just enhanced my interest.
They have a wide range of skincare, including some really nice balm products, and I decided to get two go these.
Balm Balm Face Balm & Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm |
So I was really excited for this Balm Balm Rose Geranium Face Balm.
The scent is absolutely beautiful, and I like the handy little tube.
This is a very soft balm, and once in touch with the skin it turns into a oil, so it is easy to distribute.
It is fine, but as with many oils, I don't really feel, that it "penetrates" the dry patches and really do a huge difference.
I do see some improvement of the dry patches, but I'm not over the moon, and will say, that I prefer the Weleda Skinfood for the purpose of combating dry patches.
The Balm Balm Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm though, have really impressed me.
This is a really solid, straight up balm, and you do have work it bit with it to really get it all over the face.
I have used it as a make up remover and it really melts down the make up like nothing else.
It doesn't irritate my eyes and I can really rub it in without any problems.
Afterwards I remove it with a damped face cloth, and it just leaves you skin feeling so nourished and smooth.
It has a very unique scent - kind of like a herbal-sweets-spa, but I really like it, and it not overpowering.
I only have praise for this balm, and will definitely be repurchasing this (it is really affordable as well).
I will give the Face Balm a 3 on the Rating Scale. The Cleansing Balm, I have to give a 5, I really love it.
