Bomber is the new Black… Style Inspiration - The Bomber Jacket!

While the duster/trench coat is still holding strong, I feel like there is a new player in town this spring, that will be this years spring outerwear - the bomber jacket.

The khaki bomber was seen on several fashionistas during the just held fashion-weeks, so if you want to be up there with them, you go for this classic bomber shade.

I selected a few somewhat affordable choices - The key in picking a bomber is the fabric, it can make it or break it or rather make it look lush and expensive or cheap and trashy!

1. ASOS Khaki Bomber (£ 55)
If you are going for the khaki, this aviator inspired Bomber is a great pick.
If you are feeling like rocking the 70's trend also, this would go great with a paired of flared jeans.

For a more feminine and understated look go for a black.
Balance out the volume on top with a pencil shirt or cigarette trousers.

If you're a bit more bold, go for khaki with a twist.
This lighter version will be great over dresses but will also bring you into summer, to wear with shorts on the chillier summer nights.

If you don't feel that the voluminous and/or cropped look is for you, then go for a longer and slimmer version.
This very simple pick will go well in most wardrobes, and is a great pick if you are not wanting to make a statement.

However if you do want to make a statement, this is the way to go.
This is a piece, that will turn heads and create envy. The cream makes it look very delicate and feminine, while the bomber shape gives it the perfect amount of edge.
On the top of my wish list!

If the cream and the scuba is a bit much for you, but you're still feeling a statement, this floral piece is a great option.
I see a very laid back outfit where this is paired with boyfriend jeans and a white tee, but you can also pair it with your LBD for a night out - so many options.

So I hope, this gave you some inspiration and maybe a bit of a push for a bomber jacket buy!
I have one, that I was lucky enough to find in the winter sale, and I absolutely love it, and will probably be adding another to my collection - possibly one of these :-)
