A Bit of Haulin'… Kiko Haul and First Impressions!

Some of my favourite Youtubers and bloggers rave about Kiko products.

So after browsing their webshop several times over the past months, I finally caved and placed an order.

I probably had a bit to high expectations, which unfortunately for the most part weren't fulfilled.

I made the order to get the Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation, because it sounded right up my street.

And it probably would be, if it wasn't for the shade - it is as you can see from the swatch, extremely orange!

This is the lightest shade in Light Peach, and it is a whole lot of peach, but nowhere near light.

I did however like the finish and feel, so if you are not as fair as me and can go to a store and get matched, it might be a good buy, as it is only € 5,90.

Together with the foundation, the Natural Concealer was on the top of my list.

Luckily this is so much better than the foundation, also shade-wise (I got the shade 01 clear)

It has a quite different texture (almost gel-like), but blend in to the skin like a dream and brightens up my under eye area - and no creasing.

Love this product, which is a steal at € 5,50.

I had heard that the Super Colour Mascara in Plum was pretty much burgundy, and I have been dying to get a burgundy mascara, but they are hard to find on the highstreet.

I love this mascara, it gives great length and definition and is the perfect colour - just what I wanted.

I layer it over a white mascara primer to make the colour pop a bit more, and it makes it absolutely perfect.

It would probably be the main reason, I would do another order with Kiko.

To get to the required minimum amount, I added in the Crystal Eyeliner in Vision Ice Green. 

It is a super soft and smooth and a really nice colour, but nothing special.

I also got a Smart Lip Pencil in Periwinkle Violet, I really liked it at first, as it is really soft and long-lasting.

However is crumples when you try to sharpen it, so it has a limited use, and for that reason, I wouldn't recommend it, which is to bad, as the colour is wonderful.

All in all I'm not that impressed and actually a bit disappointed.

I love the concealer and the mascara, but the rest was either bad or just okay.

I really want to repurchase the concealer and mascara, but as the shipping is quite expensive and you have to order for minimum amount, it probably won't happen!
