Nude 90's inspired lips was all the rave last season, and I see it go well into the spring/summer.
However I'm not really a nude-lip-lover. It doesn't really work for me most of the time, probably because I have somewhat small lips.
But I found some options of nudes, that I really like, and suits both my small lips and complexion.
I definitely think the key is not going for a matte (even though it might be really tempting, as this is also a big trend and makes the overall lasting power quite a bit better), but if you have a hard time wearing nude, it is not the way to go.
Another tip is not to go for a "true" nude, but pick a shade, that looks natural, but don't make you look like a mannequin.
With this in mind, these are my favourites.
Topshop Nudist Lipstick
This really goes very well with the 90's trend, the sheen and almost purple tone makes it so much easier to wear.
I often pair it with a nude/pink liner, to make it last a bit longer.
NARS Biscayne Park Satin Pencil
This is probably the most "true" nude of the three, but the peachy tone and satin finish goes really well with my lip shape and complexion.
And these NARS Satin Lip Pencils are so great and actually have great lasting power.
Maybelline Caramel Infused Color Elixir
This is more a "your lips but better" in the berry family.
But it is so wearable, comfortable to wear and makes my lips look so lush.
And I love the scent!
So these were my tips for "nude" lips and my favourites.
What is you favourite nude?
