Tis' the season for a bolder lip, and I tend to gravitate towards the more berry/rose tones.
I mostly go for a very simple eye, when I do the bold lip - I love the look of pretty much bare eyes and the statement lip.
These are my picks for this winter.

"The dark vampy red" - Maybelline Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in Berry Much
This is a must-have for this season, everybody needs something like this in their collection, and this one from Maybelline is my pick.
I love these lip pencils and the velvet look - so comfortable on the lips and quite long-lasting.

"The Spicy Rose" - Rimmel Lasting Finish Lip Pencil in Spice & Lasting Finish Lipstick in 05
I think the rosy lip is perfect for my pale skin, and this combo is so nice.
I have had this lip pencil forever, which is probably why it is pretty much impossible to get a hold on now.
However with the recent lip liner/pencil craze, it shouldn't be hard to find a similar one.
"The Funky Fuchsia" - Tanya Burr Exotic Island
I have had this for while, but didn't really appreciate it until recently.
This is not a lip gloss, it is a liquid vinyl finish lipstick in the prettiest bright colour - love it!
