Mix it up… Inspiration - Foundation mix up!

I'm pale, no secret there.
This makes it very hard to find the perfect match, when it comes to foundations.
(Nars Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc is pretty much the closets I got).

In my search, I do purchase quite a few foundations - Because who knows, the next one could be the perfect one :-)
So I have quite a few in my collection.

But I'm not one for just throwing money out, so to the get use out of my collection, I try to mix them for several different options.
This have resulted in actually getting use out of every foundation in my collection.

If you are like me, very pale, I would really recommend getting the Rimmel Match Perfection in Light Porcelain
Because even though it is to pale for me, it is perfect mix with to dark foundations, to create the perfect shade.
It is very "neutral" in finish, so it doesn't change the finish of other foundations to much, making it the absolute perfect mixing foundation.

I mix it with the L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Luminize BB Cream to get a light and very glowing base.

For a bit more coverage, but still with a glow, I mix the Rimmel one with Bourjois Happy Light Foundation.

If I'm looking for a very flawless base with just a hint of dewy finish, I mix Rimmel with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation.

Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation is actually quite a fine match for me (maybe a bit to yellow), however mixed with some of the other foundations, it creates much better result.

If I want to keep the very luminous look, I mix it with the L'Oreal BB Cream, with creates a very light, super luminous base - very summer appropriate.

If you want to tone down the dewy look a bit and also have a bit more coverage, mixing it with the Healthy Mix Foundation is the way to go.

So this is how I mix my foundations to get the perfect result.

So have an extra look in you foundation collection and experiment with a bit of mixing.
