Moisture month… Beauty Favourites January 2014!

The real stand out products for me this month were in the moisture department - more specific face moisturisers.

I have really discovered the importance of a good moisturiser, and this even more in these cold months.

For day moisture, I found the Korres Watercress Extra Moisturising Cream in TK Maxx at half-price £ 10, when my skin was at its worse, and I heard good things about many of the other Korres moisturisers, so I decided to give it a go and I'm totally in love.
It is a very heavy duty moisturiser, but if you like me suffer with dehydrated skin and dry patches, it is perfect!

For night time, I have been using Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil.
It was splurge, but after countless recommendations and realising, that my skin was in need of something extra, I decided to give it a go.
And where I wasn't to happy about another night time oil, Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate, this lived up to the hype for me.
No more dry patches, my skin feels smooth and soft the next morning and my pores are visible smaller.

I'm normally not into citrus scents, but pink grape is an exceptions, and this Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit smells absolutely beautiful and moisturises like a dream.
A new handbag staple.

This month I filled up my MAC palette, and I love it.
I have been loving the cult shadow Woodwinked layer over MAC Paintpot in Groundwork.

Maybelline Cover Stick is a old favourite, but this month it took the lead over my other concealers.
Benefit Hervana Blush is so beautiful and the perfect mid tone pink, and I have used it almost every day of January.

This month I tried Nail Polishes from Urban Outfitters, and I was really impressed.
I got two, an iridescence taupe, Barely, and a duo-chrome purple, Unicorn.
The colours are unique and the formulation is great.

I have tried several cuticle removers over the years, but non of them ever really worked - this Mavala Cuticle remover does.
It is super quick and easy to use.

These Maybelline Color Show Street Artist Glitter Top Coat are another great find of January.
If love that it is "matte" glitter.

These were my January favourites - I will try to get up a 2013 favourites soon.
