The best way to create illusions with make up is with highlighting/brightening products.
I love the effect these kind of products give and as I've said so many times before, I definitely prefer a dewy natural look over matte and perfect.
The obvious way to get the effect is with the face products.
But highlighting products can also create effect in other areas.
Here are some of my favourite products to create the perfect bright look.

1. Benefit Sugarbomb Blush - This creates the perfect glowing look.
2. Seventeen Skin Wow Primer - Love, love, love this one, perfect three-way product.
3. theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer - I do prefer a cream-ish highlighter, but this one is an exception, but also a very noticeable highlighter, so not for the shy.
4. No. 7 Instant Radiance Highlighter - This is a more subtle highlighter and it is very easy to work with.
5. Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation - This is the absolutely most luminous and dewy foundation, I have ever tried.

1. Collection Eyeshadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky - This is perfect for a quick inner corner highlight and in the waterline.
2. Topshop Lipstick in Tease - You might not think a lipstick should appear in this mix, but this lipstick just brightens up your face (you can see it in action here)
3. MAC eye shadows in Phloof and Nylon - Both this shadows are my absolute favourite for inner corner highlight, which makes you eyes look more awake and bigger. Phloof is also great allover the lid.

1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light - The star of the show, I can't rave enough about this powder - it sets you make up without taking away the glow and brightens up your entire complexion with its luminous finish.
So I hope this gave you some inspiration to meet the spring and summer with a bright face:-)
