Tropic Tie dye.... Nail of the day!

"If you like pina coladas..."
You might also like these bright summer nails:-)

If I could choose my summer, it would be all about cool drinks, sun and relaxing.
Unfortunately this is very far from the reality!

I'm going to spend my summer in a dark office.
So to bring in a little summer, I made these nails.

This is how I did it:

Step 1:
Base coat.
Then a coat of a white or light nude to make the bright colours pop!
(I used OPI Skull and Glossbones).
Make sure to let it dry.

Step 2:
Take a make up sponge (I think the "triangle" ones are best).
Then paint first a yellow line, then a pink and last a blue line onto the sponge.

Step 3:
Then dab it onto the nail.
With the first nails, you will have to reapply the polish to sponge after each nail.
But as the sponge gets "saturated" with polish, you won't have to repaint the sponge after each nail.
Let the first coat dry and then do the same again, but with a clean part of the sponge.

Step 4:
Let it dry and then apply top coat.

The polishes I uses:

OPI Skull and Bones
L.A. Colors Sea Siren
H&M Summer Sunrise and Strawberry Lollipop (part of a set of 4).

I hope, this inspired you to do some fun summer nails, whether it will be to show of out in the sun or inside at the office:-)

Have a great summer and keep it hot <3
