I like a red lip, and I do often swing that way, but I really like to rock the boat bit and go for something a somewhat more spectacular, and MAC Heroine is just that.

Bite my lip… Review - Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencils!

Welcome to the first of many reviews of one of my many U.S. purchases.

Unless you have been living under a rock (at least if you are somewhat beauty interested), you will probably have heard about Bite Beauty, and from the get go, I have been really intrigued about this natural brand.

So of cause I had to give their stand in Sephora a look.

I have really been liking the Nars Lip Pencils, so after doing a lot of swatching, I decided to go with one of their lip pencils, and as you see, I had to go back and get another one.

Velvet Lippy… Review - Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil!

I saw these first, when I was in London, but didn't really take notice.

But after hearing Lily Melrose raving about them and realising, that they were actually available in Denmark (Shocker!!), I decided to try one out.

I wasn't super amazed by the first I got (minimalist), but it still spiked my interest and I every time, I went by a Maybelline stand, I swatched Berry Much, and in the end, I had to have it.

To be honest, the whole matte lip isn't really my thing - I do like the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107, but besides that, I often go for a more glossy look, probably because it makes my tiny lips look more luscious:-)

However I always get intrigued, when brands launch these hybrid lipstick/gloss things, so of course I had to try the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets.

If you dare… Lipstick Love - MAC Up the Amp!

When we go bold, we often go red.

But as I have mentioned before, I'm not that crazy about red lipstick on me, even though I do go there from time to time.

I was however for while on the hunt for purple lipstick, and after some search though and a lot of swatching at the drugstore, I had to realise, that my search would only be able to end at MAC.

Because after seeing Claire Marshall video about her favourite MAC lipsticks (if you haven't seen it, you should really do so, it is fantastic!), I fell in love the Up the Amp and there was no drugstore dupe.

Bare N' Pop… Inspiration - Bare eyes and pop lip!

As I have mentioned before, for me the eye make up is always, where I use the most time.

However it is also the step, I most often skip.

Lately I have skipped it a lot!

Instead to amp up my make up look, I have added a pop lip, while keeping the eyes super simple with only mascara.

Oh that sweet hunt - the hunt for the perfect everyday lipstick.
It will probably never stop, but on your way, you probably do stubble onto a few very good candidates.

I had heard that the new Moisture renew lipstick were very good.
I'm actually not really a lipstick person, but the concept of a very pigmented, but also moisturising lipstick did intrigue me.

Okay, this is going to be a shorter one, so I'm just going to address my lack of posts recently.

As you might have read, I'm doing a semester in the UK, so everyday life is a bit different for me now.

Besides that I have been ill pretty much the whole month of October.

As this blog is a hobby and a fun side activity, it do acquire a certain mood, which is not present when not feeling good and being a bit stressed about a very huge amount of reading and uni-stuff.

So for the next coming months, you will probably see, that I won't be that consistent in my posting.

However I still hope, that the few of you, who is following, will keep doing so.

Top up... New Topshop Make Up!

Recently I treated myself to a couple of new items from Topshops make up range, that I had been wanting for a while.

Hot as Hell... Fuchsia lip products!

I find it very hard to wear red lipstick.

Maybe it's because I have very small lip or maybe, because I have to yellow teeth :-)

Either way I prefer a fuchsia or hot pink lip, when I want something a bit bolder.

These are my favourite products to achieve the look.

Lip Fight... Product battle - Revlon Lip Butters vs. L'Oréal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipstick

My friend brought me some Revlon Lip butters from USA a while ago, as we don't have Revlon in Denmark.

I really like them, but was very tempted to try the L'Oréal Caresse lipstick, which was said to be their version of the lip butters.

However they are not yet available in Denmark.

So on my trip to London, I picked up two of the Caresse Lipsticks.

And I thought, why not compare the two?

Top Lips.... Product Love - Topshop Lipsticks!

I'm a cheap-ass when it comes to lipsticks. 

I don't feel, that I have the budget to spend £ 20 or more on a lipstick.

Especially because I want lots of different colours.

But I'm also quite picky and don't like if the formula is to cakey or dry.

In Topshop I found the perfect lipstick, that fits my budget and have exactly the colours, I'm looking for.
