Spring has sprung in Denmark, and that calls for lighter layers.
I fell in love with the waistcoat late last summer, when it slowly showed its face on the highstreet - my first one was from Zara and I remember going back and forth before getting it, but in the end, I never regretted it.
So I was happy to see, that the trend really stepped forward this spring, and now they are everywhere!

No matter your style, age or shape, you need a waistcoat.
For these more chillier spring months it is great for layering - I even use them over lighter jackets to create the ultimate layered look.
But they especially come to good use in the warmer summer months over shorts and a top or a summer dress.
It just gives the outfit a bit of umpf, and makes it look more put together without adding heavy layers that will make you melt in the sun.

I have quite a collection now, but I really have my eye out for a brighter version like the one from Zara.
