Flower Power Child… Trend Inspiration - Floral print!

I not a floral kind of girl - I think the whole 90's grunge floral printed dress or pretty spring dress in floral print is lovely, but it is not for me.

However that doesn't mean, that I'm totally dismissing the idea of some floral prints in my wardrobe.
I actually managed to find some pieces, that I think would go very well with my style and doesn't make me feel like, I'm wearing another persons clothes.

So if you are like me, and find it hard to fit the floral print into you style, keep on reading.

When I'm looking for floral print, I go for the bolder and bigger, more graphic ones.
I will stay totally away from dresses, as they, in my opinion have the highest chance of compromising my style to much.
But more casual items, such as a simple tee, a relaxed trouser or some sneakers, will be easy to fit in to my style without make it to "pretty" or "girly".

1. Zara Top (£ 29.99)
A monochrome print is great, if you wish to add the florals in a subtle way.
And I really love the bright green base colour on this top.

2. H&M Floral Kimono (£ 29.99)
This is probably one of the more pretty items, I've picked, but together with all black, I think I will work very well.
The large scale print and the colour palette makes it very modern and sophiticated.

3. ASOS Headband (£ 6)
If you just want a little hint of floral, this is a great way to go.
Personally I'm not into the conventional and very popular flower headbands, but this one is kind of rock n' roll, and I really like it.

4. ASOS Culotte shorts (€ 15)
The print on these is also very unique and graphic, and the black base give them the edge, I love.
I would pair these with a simple white tee or tank and some ankle boots.

5. Topshop Tank (£ 24)
A sports inspired tank, really takes the floral print down to a very relaxed look.
Paired it with a black bodycon con skirt, some sneakers and a leather jacket and you are good to go.

6. Minkpink Playsuit (£ 53)
This is another more girly item, but a great alternative to a dress.
Paired with sneakers or flat sandals in the summer, you can really create a cool and casual look.

What is more casual and relaxed than skater plimsolls.
And with this you are covering two spring/summer trends.

8. Zara Trouser (£ 39.99)
Both the fit and the print on these trousers makes floral print very easy to wear.
Zara is actually really good at these more sophisticated floral prints.
If you are brave and want to mix floral prints, Zara actually paired these trouser with the green top and it looks great.

9. ASOS Tee (£ 18)
A super easy way to add a bit of floral in casual way is a simple tee.
The slogan on this one makes it even more relaxed and the semi cropped fit makes it a perfect match for high waisted shorts.

So I hope, this gave you some inspiration, I, myself, is quite keen on getting the a few of these items in the nearest future.
