I know, that people say, that they can't believe another month had gone by, when they do their monthly favourites.
This was not the case for me and January!
So I can't wait for a short and hopefully more eventful February :-)
But I still manage to gather quite a amount of favourites - a few new ones and a lot of rediscoveries.
Skin:
Body Nordic Lovely Summer Body Oil Lotion:
This is a really nice lotion.
Sinks in really quickly, but still really hydrating.
Unfortunately this was only a small sample, and I have to many body lotion to justify buying another one right now.
Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser:
Yes, after almost a month, I still love it.
And it do remove heavy eye make up as well, haven't use my oil make up remover all month.
You can see my review here.
Bio-Oil:
Not only did this helped me appreciating the La Roche-Porsay Effaclar Duo (see review here) and hydrating my skin.
It has also helped with dry and itchy patches on my arms and legs!
This is a wonder product!
Fragrance:
Narciso Rodriguez for her:
I have loved this perfume ever since, I first smelled it in a magazine almost two years ago.
It's such a sophisticated, but still sweet and flirty scent, and a little edgy - just up my street.
Nails:
Orly Cotton Candy:
I got this back in December, but really fell in love with it this month.
Perfect creamy pinky peach - so simple, but still very unique.
Will be a spring/summer favourite for sure.
OPI Nail Envy:
Love this for a base coat, and can't imagine using anything else.
See my review here.
Make up - Face:
Sleek Contour Kit in light:
This has both the perfect contour and highlight colour.
And all a such a good price.
A real bargain.
Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in colour 07:
I actually got this last spring, but didn't really fall in love with it instantly.
But it has been the perfect winter blush.
The shade is perfect and because it's a cream, it's great for my dull winter skin.
Benefit Sugarbomb blush:
I've talked about this blush a lot - and yes yes, I know, I promised not to repeat myself in my favourites, but some products just deserve to be mentioned more than once :-).
It's just the perfect blush for my fair complexion.
I get amazed every time, I apply it.
Make up - Eyes:
I normally don't wear the same eye look several times within a short period of time, but for January I have been gravitating to the combination below most days!
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in Top Brass:
I love the Creaseless Creams as a base for my shadows.
I normally use the more neutral ones most, but this month I have just loved this bronze one with the shadow below on top.
Max Factor single shadow in Earth Spirits:
Before I got obsessed with make up, this was actually my only shadow.
And this month I realized, that I still love it.
For inter corner highlight, I have alternated between these two:
L'Oreal Paris Color Infaillible in Hourglass Beige:
I have been quit critical about this shadow in the past.
But I'm happy to say, that I have now found a use for it!
It's great for highlighting the inner corner applied with a small precision brush.
It really brightens up the inner corner.
GOSH Effect Powder in Gold Dust:
This was also in my December favourites, but I have also been loving it this month.
It's just such an interesting colour.
Lips:
Korres Mandarin Lip Butters:
You can see my review for these here!
I have really been loving them this month.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling Cherie:
I really love these, and for this month this shade has really been perfect.
If you haven't tried them - go go go!
So this was the rather long January favourites, but it has been a long month :-)
Hope you enjoyed!
