Radiance Booster… Review - Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Radiance!

I was browsing the Sephora "aisle of dome" (aka probably the best part of Sephora) on one of my visits and came across this, while actually standing with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfection in my basket.
A quick try out and I was convinced, that the Becca one had to go and in went the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer.

I decided to go with the small size, which actually is 30 ML, so not that small at all in the "primer-world".
I gave it a good try in the hot L.A. weather and have now also tested in my daily life and I'm ready to report back.

I really like me a dewy look, but I don't want noticeable shimmer all over my face.
I also want my primer to perfect and keep my make up looking fresh and last longer.

Most radiance/glow primers do also come with a certain amount of shimmer or glimmer.
This is quite unique in the way that it gives radiance - it is more like a boost of moisture, that really gives the skin a very perky and fresh look.

It does even out the skin, and for a really good skin day, I could probably do with this and just some concealer.

I really like that it don't have any "colour" or tint, which can be an issue, when you are as fair as me.

Lastly it do really give my whole make up look this wonderful glow and keep it looking fresh for hours.

It does however not really do that much in terms of pore-filling, so if I want my make up to look really flawless, I would probably add a bit of pore-helping primer in the areas, that need it.

I'm quite excited about this products from Laura Mercier, and together with the Mineral Powder, it really makes me want to try out more from the brand.
And I do so regret, that I didn't get the full size.

It will be good for a 5 on the Rating Scale.

  1. I swear I can see this highlighting primer on me from space! It is a little much for me to be applying all over my face, but I do sometimes add a little under my foundation to cheekbones etc xx

    1. You are probably right :-) But I love it, because it is a "lit from within" and not "disco ball" highlighting.
