So a few weeks ago, I saw one of my favourite Youtubers FleurDeForce do a video about Ciate's new caviar manicure sets.
I got an instant feeling of "most-have"!
Unfortunately Ciaté is not available in Denmark and a quick browse at their website, did let me know, that it wouldn't be easy and also at £ 18 per set, I though it was quite expensive.
And of cause I was not happy about waiting!!
Then a week ago my favourite nail Youtuber MissJenFABULOUS had a video showing, who to make a caviar manicure without the Ciaté set.
She bought her micro beads at a craft store, so I went to my a danish craft store, but no luck (like every other time I get a good idea, they never have things I need!!).
But then the Internet is fantastic. One quick search on Google, and I found a online nail supply store, that sold them, in no time.
So now I got my caviar manicure <3
How to do it:
Step 1
Choose your base colour and mix the different colour of beads to your liking.
For a base colour I used Essie To buy or not to buy, which is a lilac with subtitle purple glitter.
I mixed equal amount of lilac and bright pink beads.
Then I added a smaller amount of both turquoise beads and then a bit of gold beads.
Make sure to mix them together well, as the do stick together.
Step 2
Put on base coat and one coat of your base colour.
Step 3
One nail at a time apply a thick layer of the base colour. Hold you hand over a tray (preferably with high edges) and carefully pour the beads on the nail.
Then very gently press down on the beads.
And the carry on with the other nails, still on at a time.
Step 4
Apply top coat to the tip of the nail.

How long does it stay?
Let me just start by saying, that I'm lucky if a normal manicure lasts on my nails for two days.
Showering was the big thing, that changed the appearance.
But after a whole day, there were still many bread left, and I don't feel, that it look so bad, that I have to take it of.
But I might as well let you judge yourself.
Where to buy the beads?
I bought the beads at the this website:
http://www.nded.dk/
The cost is 1,14 Euro for 18 grams and they have big colour selection as well as other nail art supply.
But in my search I found a lot of different sites, mainly nail supply web shops, that sold them.
(I searched for nail micro beads on Google).
Which actually let us know, that Ciaté didn't came up with this idea.
They were just very clever to make a set and give it a "sexy" name:-)
If you are not in Denmark, you might even be so lucky, that you can buy them at a craft store.
My overall impression.
I love them!!!
It will with out a doubt be my summer go to manicure.
It is so easy and quick and it looks fantastic in my opinion.
So I can't wait to try other combinations.
Until then lets enjoy another snap shot of my "candy" nails.
