Greasy Be Gone… Recycle Week Part II - Dry Shampoo.

I hate greasy hair, and after close to three years into my "only-wash-my-hair-every-second-day" project, I have decided, that I just going to wash my hair whenever, I want.
And if this means every day, then be it.

Because in spite of what I was told, my hair never "got use to" being only washed every second day, and therefore not producing as much oil - my hair is just as oily now on the second day, as it was three years ago.
And I hate second/oily day hair, and my scalp is often very itching on the second day.

John Frieda Luxirious Volume Dry Shampoo - Dove Style+Care Dry Shampoo
Tresemmé Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo - Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo

And as the fact is, that it actually mostly the things, we do after the hair washing, such as using hot tools, that damages that the hair.
I don't use hot tools on my hair every time I wash it anyway.

So to make a long story short - I'll do whatever I feel is right for me, hair-washing-wise, and this does mean washing my hair pretty much every day, and therefore not using as much dry shampoo.
However I still use it in the morning, when I have washed my hair in the evening before, just to give it a bit of a refresher.

I normally just stick to my TreSemmé Dry Shampoo, but for these past months, I have been trying out a few other drugstore options, so I thought, this would be the perfect opportunity to let you know, which one I think it best.

In fourth place comes a fairly new launch, the Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo
This is quite new, and I therefore got it on an introduction offer, which I'm quite happy about, as it isn't anything special, and after just five uses, the nozzle broke, so I couldn't use it any more.
Will not be repurchasing.

In third comes the Dove Style+Care Dry Shampoo, I like the effect, but the scent is horrible - very old women powder, so not a repurchase either for me.

In second comes the John Frieda Volume Dry Shampoo, this is absolutely the best scent-wise, however I don't feel it do the best job in taking away the grease, but for the light refreshing I'm going for these days, it is great.
But just a tip, use it before putting on black clothes!
I have repurchased this one.

Surprise, surprise, TreSemmé Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo is still number one.
I like the scent of John Frieda better, but nothing beats this in terms of effect.
However if you are not into the matte look, this is probably not for you, but when I have real second day hair, this is just the best.
I do however only like the formula for normal hair, the volume version for fine hair is okay, but not as good!
