Be Gone… Recycle Week Part VI - The Clear Out!

So today we are going to look at products, that aren't empties, but that has either expired or I just don't really want any more, either because they didn't work for me or because I'm tried of them.

Figuring out, when a product is expired, can be hard, because the main rules or directions on the packaging doesn't always make sense to me.
But I look at the product, so look at the allover appearance, especially the colour and texture. The smell is also a good indicator, if it smells different, it is probably to old.

The ELF Highlighting powder and Bronzing powder was some of my first buys, when I really got into make up a few years back.
They are really good budget products, especially the Highlighting powder, which I have used a lot, but I have so many other products in my collection now.

Neutrogena Blackhead Eliminating scrub has been a staple in my skincare routine of years, but I don't really feel that it do anything for my skin anymore.

I have tried out a few exfoliating toners, the Burt's Bees Radiance Toner and the Pixi Glow Tonic, I never really got the hype and they both changed scent and colour, so out they go.

Amie Spring Clean Deep Clay Mask, I got in a beauty box, but was a bit to harsh for my skin.
But this one I will be passing on to someone else.

I kind of stocked up on this The Bodyshop Poppy Seed Oil Hair Mask, when I found it on sale, because I love the scent, but now 3 years later, the scent is gone or actually turned really bad, so out it goes.

The Bio Beauty Make up Remover also changed scent and texture, I stopped using it, when I found the Butter cleansers, and now that I'm back to oil, it just not good any more.

I also got the Rieman P20 Sunscreen I also got in beauty box.
I'm so bad at using sunscreen, so of this one expired before I could use it up.

I don't even know, why I got this Dove Go Fresh, as I don't really like aerosol deodorants.

I had heard that the MUA Eyeshadow Primer was comparable to the Urban Decay Primer Potion, but it never really worked for me, and now it has turned a bit watery.

Decubal Lips & Dry Spots balm is actually really good, but I have had this one for years, and it smells a bit weird now.

Lush Skindrink was okay, but actually not moisturising enough for my winter skin, and it has gone bad, because last time I used it, my skin broke out.

Another product, that broke me out was the L'Oreal Youth Code BB Code. I did notice, that it did smell a bit weird, but I gave it go, but I had so realise, that it probably expired, while sitting in my collection untouched the past 6 months.

This Carmex Lip balm was fine, but I was getting a bit grubby and I have so many other lip balms.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub has also expired and I actually got the Popcorn flavor, so no need for two.

Origins Super Spot Remover just never did it for me, I think a bit of toothpaste is the best spot treatment ever.

So this was all for Recycle week. I do of course recycle all the packing - hence the name of this little series.
I hope, you enjoyed.
