So it has been a few days, since I got the full contents of the GOODIEBOX, and I have now tried all the products.
So as promised, here are my thoughts about the products.
Weleda Handcreme:
The effect is okay, it does makes my hands soft once it has dried.
However I hate the smell, it kind of reminds me of something i smelled while in India, but I can't quite place it.
However if you like orange/lemon scents, you will probaly like it.
Also until it's dry, it feels were sticky, which I really don't like.
I will not be buying the full size of this product.
Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara:
I not a big fan of Max Factor mascaras in general. I think they are highly overrated.
The first time I tried it, I was not impressed at all.
I think, it's really hard to work with, because it's a very dry formula.
However while using it just know, I'm liking it a little better.
Mostly because of the result, because I still think, it is a bit hard to apply, without the lashes getting really clumpy and stuck together.
With two coats, you can see a picture with me without mascara here |
I will be using this mascara, but just not when in a hurry.
And I will probaly not be rebuying it, as I have tried better voluming mascaras.
The Body shop Moringa Body Butter:
Let me just start by saying, that I have grown to love The Body Shop this past year.
I really think, they have a lot of great products.
Including their body butters.
I already have moringa bodyshower, so I knew, that I would like the scent.
It's very nice and floraly. However I do understand, if some people think, it's to much.
The scent stayes on you skin for a very long time, which I personally think is great.
The texture is quite thick, but not as greasy as you would expect.
It sinks into the skin very fast and leaves it so nice and moist, and this effect also lasts all day.
So all together, I think it's a great product, and actully I love the size, as it so easy to bring with you on the go.
I will probaly buy this again, when I have used up all of my 1000 other body butters and body lotions :-)
The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Serum:
I'm of the impression, that you will need to use a serum for a lot longer, than this sample provides, in order to really see the result.
I have never used a serum before, mainly because of the price of those.
Even though I only used it for two days, I did actually think it made a difference to my skin.
It made it very soft and together with my daily moisturizer, it seem very hydrated.
However there were two things, I didn't like.
I have very sensitive skin, and it did sting a little. However it didn't leave my skin irritated after I put my moisturizer.
Also it dries very fast, and leaves your skin very tight, so you will have to slap on your moisturizer right away.
Even though the price for the full size is very reasonable (DKK 150,- for 30 ml.), I will probaly not buy it, due to the fact, that it stings, which makes me a little scared.
Essie nail polish (Colour: Sew Psyched):
I would probaly not have picked out this colour myself.
But that is the great thing about this concept, you try things, you wouldn't buy your self.
I would describe it as dusty light armygreen/grey.
It has a slight shimmer, but you don't see that, once it is on the nails.
It is very creamy and as all Essie polishes to easy and nice to apply.
So if you are on the look for a light green, like this, I can recommend it.
I will be using it this spring, even though I do prefer more bight colours.
And all over I do recommend Essie polishes.
Chocolate covered Licorice almonds:
There is not much to say but... YUM YUM YUM.
I love them, and I can't get enough.
It might seem like a stange combo, but I promise you, they are great!
So all together, I'm have enjoyed trying all the product, and I'm looking forward to the next GOODIE box!
